Ferno Cot CareTM Program

Ferno's Cot CareTM programs provide EMS services the training and resources to perform their own service of Ferno products. Ferno offers two skill-training programs to meet your needs.

1. OPERATIONS & SERVICE PROGRAM

The Cot CareTM Operation & Service Program provides an overview of Ferno manufacturing, legal concerns, proper operation techniques, inspection, maintenance and repair procedures, documentation and injury prevention. Technicians will participate in lecture and comprehensive hands-on instructions tailored to your specific Ferno products.

Technicians will achieve the skills needed to properly maintain and service their Ferno equipment. Each technician will receive their own training manual on CD or,upon request, a printed copy. This will include listings of replacement parts, technical drawings, detailed instructions, a FREE copy of Operation Safe EMS safety training CD, and a Certificate

2. MAINTENANCE PROGRAM

A less intensive one day Cot CareTM Maintenance Program is also available to train your staff in proper operation, inspection, cleaning and minor repairs of your Ferno equipment.

OPERATION SAFE EMS

To enhance your safety, Ferno has partnered with McNeil & Company to produce the Operation Safe EMSTM Program. This CD-based, interactive training program is available free of charge and covers all aspects of operator and patient safety during patient transfer and transport, including techniques for safe lifting, the development of critical thinking skills, and an application and evaluation of the skills you learn from the program.

The Cot CareTM Operations & Service Program and the Cot CareTM Maintenance Program is $350 per day with a class size maximum of 6 participants.

Travel and related expenses are not included.

The training is conducted at our facility in Mississauga, Ontario and on-site training is also available.
