Ferno Canada's Cot and Emergency Equipment Care Repair and Maintenance Program is designed to assist Emergency Response Services in reducing costs and injury due to improper equipment maintenance and operation. It provides maintenance personnel with important technical information and enhanced hands-on training pertinent to the repair and use of Ferno equipment including cots and fastening systems, stairchairs and stretchers.
Offered through Ferno Canada website's Technical Support-Assistance, the program affirms Ferno's commitment to support its Emergency Response product line with qualified Emergency Service Providers.

Ferno Canada's Repair and Maintenance Program offers three different repair training program opportunities
1. Comprehensive Training Course, Ferno Washington, Wilmington, Ohio:
A complete overview of Ferno manufacturing, technical aspect of basic safety concerns, tools used, cot and stretcher updates, common problems, proper inspection and documentation, and detailed disassembly, and reassembly of your specific Ferno cot and fastener, stairchair or stretcher. It also looks at back injury prevention, and proper cot and stretcher operation.
Fee: $375 per student to cover training, training manual, Class I & III parts manuals, technical drawings, periodic critical updates and Certificate of Completion. The fee does not include transportation, lodging or meals.
2. On-site or Ferno In-house Product Specific Repair Training Course:
A one day program designed for EMT's, Risk Managers, Training Officers and Maintenance staff, this repair training program looks at the proper inspection and documentation, disassembly, and reassembly of the Ferno cot and fastener, stairchair, or stretcher as selected by you. Conducted either at Ferno Canada, Mississauga or Kelowna branch office or at your facility (Ontario Only), it provides specific information and answers to questions related to the specific product under review.
Fee: $350 per day (max 4 students) to cover product user manual and parts manual-technical drawing for the specific product selected. Travel and accommodation for the Ferno Authorized Technician are extra.
